This is the third book in the Talents series, and it's supposed to make the connection between those books and the Rowan/Tower and Hive series. I liked the two previous talent books, and The Rowan, but I don't care much for the Tower and Hive follow-ups. Pegasus in Space is typical McCaffrey, and has that scattered-plot-too-many-characters problem that is prevelant in her more recent work. However, it was a satisfying escape for several hours.

This book was ok. I liked the one before it better. I think I got bored a few times during the book. Not a lot of excitement, just a lot of explainations. It did pick up toward the end and it got better. I think this book was another ground laying for the second part of this series.

I love Anne McCaffrey and this book lives up to my expectations. 'Course, this being the 3rd time I've read it, I knew it would! I enjoy the way she follows characters and developes their lives and personalities in her series. All characters grow in all her books, not just "their" book.
