The book was terrible. Colby was down right hateful to Sarina's child. How they get involved is beyond me. I do not know how the semi sci-fi part of the book is relvant to the story. It did not flow good at all. I love Diana Palmer but all of her books are starting to be the same guy is rude and mean to girl because of misunderstanding and girl is guiet and takes all of the trash that he throws at her and in the end she understands?. I bought this book hoping that it would be different and I was very disappointed.

this book is awful.
It was obvious from the first two chapters that the main male character was the father of the child. The plot tries desperately to be interesting but ends up being soooo predictable to the point of being boring. I am sorry for Ms. Palmer, but she should leave a**hole male characters to Ms. Feehan.

I'm usually a Diana Palmer fan, but didn't like this book at all. It was really a struggle for me to even finish it.
Too repetitive, and kinda boring.

I enjoyed this book. It was my first read of Palmers and I will definitely read more of her books.
Good read.
This is my first book by the author so I wasn't really expecting anything great and I'm glad for it because the story was not all that great. The story could have been good but the mystery/drug investigation took too much part of the book and I felt like there really wasn't that much development between the H/H.
