I really enjoy the Culver Valley Crime series so I thought I would try other books from the author.

I did not care for this book. It did not draw me in. I did not care for the characters. The story was very flat and boring.

Sophie Hannah isn't the greatest stylist in the world, but her novels usually have a clever concept that keep you turning the pages (until the wheels come off, at the end, and you realize that you have wasted several hours of your life on the modern equivalent of It was all a dream ...)
