I am 39 year old mother of 2, so not necessarily the target audience for this book. The pixie plot line was new and compelling, but the heroine's level of cluelessness made this a 3 instead of 4 star listen. Zara patches up a dog that looks like a wolf in her locked living room after it helps her and can't seem to figure out what it could possibly mean when the boy she likes appears in the "dog's" place naked and bandaged - hmmm - she's already believing in pixies, so I really don't see why werewolves should be a stretch! The grandma is a great character and I enjoyed the descriptions of Maine. I was surprised to see 9 - 12 as the recommended age in the description on pbs. There's nothing explicit, but I would think the boyfriend and smooching excitement would appeal to jr high readers and above.
