What a fun book!! I have always thought of the Queen (as I am sure most people have) as a rather stuffy person. What fun it would be to think that she would do something like being AWOL and taking cabs, buses and trains. Wonderful fun!
Kinda cool. Kinda funny. Good premise. But ultimately, kind of depressing. I was disappointed.
This book was an absolute delight. My husband, who usually doesn't care about this "royalty stuff", also read it and demanded an instant sequel to be written. I concur with that assessment.
