What a odd little mystery. I still don't know who done it. It is the first book I've read of this author. Maybe if I read other Miss Seeton books, I could have followed it better. Its was intersting enough to keep me reading it. Basicly there is a kidnapping of a Scotish heiress. A murder and a consirery to over throw the British Crown. Miss Seeton is involved in all of it.
Drawing pictures but not really solving anything. This was a very strange mystery.

An abandoned baby turns up in a telephone box and is none other than little Lady MacSporran, a missing Scottish heiress! Scotland Yard hunts the kidnappers while Miss Seeton returns the infant to her royal home and her grateful parents and happens upon a plot to topple the British crown. It takes all of Miss Seeton's best instincts, maternal and otherwise - to solve a crime that's hardly child's play.
A great British cozy with a terrific heroine armed only with her umbrella and a sketch pad, the essence of an eccentric English spinster.
