This book is the 6th of 6 books of Patricia Rice's Magic series. It tells Aiden's story as well as give us "the rest of the story" for the other Malcom/Ives pairs. I didn't know that there would be a book about Aiden and I truly appreciate knowing more about him and how he fits into the whole picture. This book will not disappoint you!
The Magic Series:
1-Merely Magic (Drogo and Ninian)
2-Must Be Magic (Dustan and Leila)
3-The Trouble With Magic (Ewen and Felicity)
4-The Magic Moment (Christina and Duke Harry)
5-Much Ado About Magic (Lucinda and Sir Trevelyan)
6-Magic Man (Mora and Aidan)

- Excellent Series about "Malcomlm" females and "Ives" males that are always best together! The Malcolm females have strange 'gifts' and tend to resist the Ives males whom seemingly bring out the worst [or best] in them and their gifts.

- The journey along the way til they each reach the point of acceptance...and each other, is absolutely delightful! =)

- This was my favorite book so far out of the 5! One book to go. =)

I didn't really love the heroine, but the other characters were good, if not exceptionally deep. I didn't think the paranormal aspect was blended into the story very well, but still was a nice, lighter paranormal romance.

The finale to her "Magic" series-The story of Aidan Dougal, whose need for the love of one amazing woman is as great as his towering physique and turbulent emotions.

Excellent final book (I think) in Rice's Magic Series. This is the story of the mysterious Aidan Dougal.

Part of Patricia Rice's series about Malcolm women and Ives men with historical romance, humor, and a few paranormal powers. This one is about the mysterious Aidan who appeared as a secondary character in previous books. A finny, interesting read.

A man of mysterious allure to others, Adian Dougal is, in fact, isolated in every way -- alienated from a family he can never call his ouwn and convinced he brings literal destruction wherever he goes. For such a man, intimacy is impossible and marriage out of the question. Even asking for help is beyond him....until a wily enemy forces him to accept assistance from a gentle young women whose delicate beauty and strange enchantments turn his cool compusure into red-hot passion.

Left homeless by the death of her adopted parents, Mora Abbott is not the meek vicar's daughter she appears to be. Inside, she seethes with a desire to live life fully and embrace the magical talents she's only beginning to descover in herself. But Aidan, who stirs her soul in every way, presents a formidable challenge....and unless he is willing to open his heart and explore the potential of their combined magical powers, their attraction can never blossom into the full flower of love.

I really enjoyed this book - it was nice to visit old friends from previous books and to find that you knew these two people as they had played a part in the others stories.

This is the latest in her "Magic" series - the story of Aidan Dougal
(Ives?) I enjoyed it as much as the other "Magic" books.
