Few books are as well titled as this one! Not only does it refer to the long gap between the two novels with Judith Singer as the main character but at the same time it give the reader a little hint as to where the plot will take them. A very enjoyable read!

I loved it! I enjoy Susan Isaacs' books very much. She has a great writing style and wit.
One of my favorite Susan Isaacs' books. Judith is a history professor and a widow, but is an ex member of the Nassau County Police. When a neighbor vanishes, Judith tries to help. It involves her with a Long Island mobster and her one time lover who is still on the police force.
