I thought this was a pretty good thriller with just enough of that Konrath humor to keep it going. It looks like it is the first in a series (which I hope it is) but I am not sure. Certainly worth reading especially if you are a J.A. Konrath fan.
The characters were compelling; their relationships ran the gamut from funny to freaky. Just the right amount of humor, gore, suspense and thrills. Highly recommended.
I thouroughly enjoyed this book. Fast reader, and held my interest from beginning to ending. Loved the humor in the book. I laughed a few times hard.
