  We were young and wild
We knew everything
Running free and living fast
we'd never count the days that past
Then one night, out by the bay

We were only friends from that night on
We went our ways and said so long
Saying hi on passing times
Then one night I sat and cried
There's more to me than meets the eye

You couldnt believe the words you heard
You turned to walk away
And begged for you hold me tight
I wanted you there through the night.

It was as if life had stopped and time stood still
Scared and alone, loosing all my will
Wishing this was just a dream
And then you came to me.

This is how it is.
Nothing can make it change
We have to find a way to live
A new way of living seems so strange

You act like you dont care.
You are never around
The beating of my heart is the only sound.
Dont forget the things we have
And all that is to come

We made a life together
And this life is forever.
Dont turn away, dont get mad.
This life will call me mom and you dad.

I just read this a second time. I don't think I got it the first time. The girl is pregnant, right? Now that I understand the meaning I really like it.

I sense the loneliness and isolation in this. Very expressive.
