I found this book highly disturbing...Although this book is written by "the dog", so to speak, it leaves unanswered too many existential questions leaving the reader to ponder whether the dog's actions made any real difference to others and more importantly, to Himself, or whether in fact He realized He had lived His entire life according to a lie.

I really loved this book. It was so original - with the story of a family told through the eyes of their Labrador - a Labrador with a sacred mission to protect his family - and who in the process, ends up committing some crimes not typical for a dog! It made me think of my Buns and mostly, I just loved how inventive this book was! Though, I am a sucker for dog books I think that even a non-dog lover would enjoy this curious tale.

This is a story about a troubled family told from the dog's perspective. It is a bit dark however there is also some humor. I enjoyed it and may look for others from the same author.

I love books that are written from the dogs perspective. This story is very creative and was a quick read. It will make you think!
