As a devoted fan of Katherine Kingsley, I couldn't wait to read "King of Hearts" and I must say, this book met my every expectation! Loved it! Peter Frasier, the new Lord Blakesford, makes his initial visit to his country seat where his predecessors are hated and despised by the locals. They're ready to revile him, even though they don't know him. He meets Hannah Jane, a proper miss, and they share a deep connection, but both are focused on meeting the challenges they will soon face because of changes in their lives. To their surprise, Hannah is the new housekeeper at the home of Lord Blakesford and Peter, Lord Blakesford, is the guardian of Hannah's half brother. Hannah and Peter truly start learning about each other in their respective roles, and they grow to like and admire each other. However, Hannah does not reveal her parentage, which causes problems later on, and their mutual attraction seems headed nowhere because of that. This is a great story told by a highly talented story-teller. You won't want the story to end!
