I liked this book but not as well as Lumley's Necroscope series. I found that I cared nothing about the characters and while the story was entertaining it did get a little boring in places. Maybe if the book had been a trilogy with more about the life of the main character I would have loved instead of just liked the book. Then again maybe not.
