The series gets better and better with each book. The mystery in this one is pretty exciting and the new characters are very interesting. Not the small town folks as in the last three. I am going to keep reading this series.

A Quick little read. it's way more interesting if you've read previous books that built up to the mystery of the Julius House.

I just finished reading this complete series (8 books) and I feel Charlaine Harris did an excellent job with the characters, unexpected twists and plots. I often read an entire book in one setting so I could find out who did it and why!

In this house, Aurora Teagarden gets a secretive husband, a pair of bodyguards, and a new house. If only she could figure out what her husband is hiding, why she needs a bodyguard, and what happened to the previous owners of the house. Good mystery.

Charlain Harris continues with her Aurora Teagarden series by keeping the story new and also adding a change of scenery. Ms. Harris is spot on with her characters and the feel of the small town in the south.

A fun read. Artfully follows the characters created by MS Harris and leads us down a merry chase to the end. As usual I did not pick the 'evil doer'.

A quick read, but not too surprising of a mystery. The story was more about Roe's new marriage, than the mystery that she finally solves, which I had figured out half-way through the book. I like the character and it is a light-hearted read between the more intense thrillers that I usually read.

So far this is the best of the stories. Interesting twists and turns. This is a good series, different from some others, but good solid characters.

Read it in one sitting, quick and easy. I enjoy Roe. She isnt your every day heroine. I like the mysteries, keep you guess without being too over the top. Already moving on to the next book in the series.

This is my favorite book in the series so far. In book 4 Martin and Roe have gotten married and are looking for a place to live. The Julius house is what Roe wants, and wealthy Martin is only too happy to oblige, even though a whole family disappeared from under its roof a few years back. Roe loves the house and is intrigued by the missing family. What could have happened to father, mother, and daughter Julius? One moment they were there, the next they were gone. Only Mrs. Julius's mother remains, waiting for her daughter's return.

Martin also hires his old friend Shelby Youngblood and his wife Angel. He refuses to tell Roe anything about the couple and lets them live in the garage apartment near the Julius house. Martin tells Roe that Shelby and Angel are there to help her, but they really seem like her jailers, especially after she gets attacked.

With a house to decorate, a mystery to investigate, and a new husband to enjoy, life seems pretty good, until everything starts to unravel.

I have been reading this series now for 4 books, but I must admit that I'm not liking how Aurora is turning out. Harris' seems to be changing her from the humble librarian to a rather stuffy and somewhat self-righteous young woman forgetting her modest roots. The story itself was entertaining and a quick read (1 day) and I'll continue to read the series. Just not crazy about Harris has Aurora maturing.

This series seems to get better with each book. Charlaine Harris's characters are well defined and seem to stay true to their natures throughout. I'll be reading them all.

Not one of the better of this series, in fact this is one of the weaker series altogether. A fast read that requires little thought, the solving of the murder mystery just wasn't believable for me.

Aurora Teagarden gets married. renovates the Julius House
What happened to the missing Julius family?
