Terrific book. A "smart, heartwarming story of timeless love and family loyalty". Really a jewel as the 60+ recently connected and not yet married couple deals with a Willie Wonka/lottery obsessed eight year old granddaughter, a 40 year old pregant-with-triplets daughter, numerous other family & friends, no privacy and an aching back.

A really cute, and uplifting story. If you liked Julie and Romeo, you'll like this too.

Between the constant playing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the many people in her house, will Julie and Romeo get lucky and find time alone?

Julie and Romeo are an elderly couple, who both design flowers, and who are both madly in love. Romeo tries to carry Julie up the stairs and puts his back out. He is confined to bed in Julie's room. Meanwhile Julie's daughter and her children are already living with her. Julie's other daughter Nora hurts herself, is confined to bed, and insists her mother can take better care of her than her husband can. She has her husband move her, her bed and all the things she thinks she needs into Julie's living room. Romeo's children and his 93 year old mother normally live with him, and they want him back. Then Julie's grand daughter wins the lottery and things really get out of control! I found this book funny and refreshingly unique. Was this review helpful?
