LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! WOW! Really exciting & I was so thrilled that I was able to get a copy. I have always loved James Patterson's books, but recently was a bit disappointed in his "PRIVATE" series.....but this book kept me up late & had my fingers turning the pages as fast as I could to finish the book & see if I could figure out the ending. If you are able to get a copy of this book don't hesitate as I am sure you will be very pleased with the storyline & the surprise "twist" at the end! 5+ stars!!!
LOVED THIS BOOK !!!
WOW....I finished Stephen King's Mr Mercedes previously and loved it and said no one does "insane" better than Stephen King! Well I was wrong, I just finished James Patterson's Invisible and his madman was just as insane as King's! What a wild ride! Excellent.

I have to give Patterson 5 stars for this one!
Lately Patterson hasn't had many good books but I'll always keep trying, this one is a keeper.
Only took me one day to read it because I just couldn't put it down and it had a twist I didn't expect---that made it better.

All through the book it was "cat and mouse" with the main characters only to fall apart with the last chapters. That is when it becomes obvious who the killer is, although there is some attempt to put a twist on the killer's past it was too little too late to salvage the ending of what could have been terrific book. If you have ever read Stephen King' book "It" and felt let down at the final chapters of that book you will get the same let down with this book.
A great book. It was hard to put it down. Always kept you wanting to keep reading. However, at the end, I did figure out who the killer was. It took me awhile but I did get there.
Emmy Dockery, FBI research agent, is obsessed with finding the link between hundreds of arson cases hiding murders. While I am not a fan of James Patterson and his cardboard characters, this book was better than most. The plot was good enough to help make up for the lack of depth of the characters. I read it while on vacation at a resort and that no doubt helped.
James Patterson is an excellent writer but for me this one was way too dark and intense. I only read the first 200 pages and had to let it go.
An interesting book.
Gripping suspense story, good page turner, and the ending is a twist that you will never see coming.
This is probably the best Patterson I have read since some of the early Alex Cross novels. This stand-alone is co-written by David Ellis...not sure how much of this was written by Patterson but the end result is a real page-turner full of tension and suspense. I have been a little disappointed in some of the recent Patterson's that I have read including Private Down Under and Confessions of a Murder Suspect but this one is back to the thrills of some of Patterson's best. The story is about an FBI analyst, Emmy, whose sister is killed in a house fire. Emmy believes that the fire wasn't an accident but was one of a series of murders by a very clever serial murderer and then covered up to look like an accident. She identifies similar "accidental" fires across the country and concludes that they all follow a pattern. However, she has a hard time convincing the FBI of her theory. Once she does, the FBI puts together a task force to identify and track the killer. As I was reading (quickly turning the pages), I knew a twist was coming at the end but I wasn't sure what it would be and yes, it did surprise me. High recommendation for this one! I know David Ellis has co-written some other Patterson's and I'll have to read these to see if they compare with this one.
Emily Dockery is sure there is a serial arsonist at large, but nobody will believe her, including the FBI, the agency for which she works! She finds the link and finally her ex...former FBI agent Harrison Bookman is convinced she is right.....another great work from Patterson! (Even though I figured out the twist ) ......
A good Patterson book, wasn't one where I held my breath...and it was easy to put down unlike some of his others. An enjoyable read.
WOW!! Didn't see the way it ended coming at all. Excellent fast read!
I'd give this 6 stars if I could!! I absolutely loved it! The ending was mind blowing and I didn't expect it at all! Fabulous!
