Davenport is at it again...and his cases are intersecting in a strange way...the only common denominator is...HIM! Typical Sandford, fast moving, sexy and fun!

I have read most of the Prey books and this one does not disappoint. In fact, I think it's one of the better books in the series. The concept is so different from the average thriller, for some reason it really grabbed my attention and held it throughout the entire book. I would really recommend this book if you're a fan of the Prey books. If you haven't read any of them, start earlier in the series so you can get to know the characters and their interactions with each other. I love the interaction between Lucas and Weather and Lucas and Virgil and sometimes find myself laughing out loud. All in all, an enjoyable read.

Another great detective/mystery story set in St. Paul area. This time murder is mixed with antiques thefts and fraud, as well as unsavory political liaisons.

Thriller involving antiques, theft, murder, quilts, fraud, and a pair of villains who'd be funny if they weren't so deadly.

Not for me. Starts good with a robbery and killing of the two old ladies that live there, but it goes downhill from there into a confusing who done it.

Not a bad book, first book I've read by John Sandford. It would have been better if he wrote without the foul language.

Wealthy women are being brutally murdered in their homes, but it doesn't seem that anything is being stolen. It's up to Lucas Davenport to run the killer(s) to ground. Another excellent read in the Prey Series.

Another in the Lucas Davenport series this is a good read. This time Lucas must solve a series of brutal killings of old women. There is theft involved but it is not overtly apparent. Add fruad, tax evations to the mix and you have a fast moving story with some really nasty people.

In the richest neighborhood of Minneapolis, two elderly women lie murdered in their home, killed with a pipe, the rooms tossed, only small items stolen. It is clearly the random work of someone looking for money to buy drugs. But as Davenport looks more closely, he begins to wonder whether the items are actually so small and the victims so random-if there might not be some invisible agenda at work here. Gradually, a pattern begins to emerge, and it leads him to . . . certainly nothing he ever expected. Which is too bad, because the killers-and, yes, there is more than one of them-the killers are expecting him. Brilliantly suspenseful, filled with rich characterization and exciting drama, Invisible Prey is further proof that Sandford is in a class of his own.
