This book was chosen as a book club read and it proved to evoke some lively discussion about reverse racism, minority cultures, and sociological issues. Did I love it? No. Am I glad I read it? Yes.

Darker than some of Alexie's more famous works, but there are some scenes that break your heart, and others that slap you across the face. A moving work, to be sure.

The book feels slow at times but does a good job of keeping you interested. The characters are all well written and well developed. A very good book.
A serial murderer is terrorizing Seattle, hunting and scalping white men. THe crimes of the so called Indian Killer trigger a wave of violence and racial hatred.
Well done. Will look for some more from this writer.
