I liked this book. it is very informative. It can be a bit too much for those that may just be trying to get info as to if this is a good choice for them
I reccommend this one for those that have already made the decisiona and just need an occasional reminder that they can and are able to make this work.

This book is in question-and-answer format, which is great for beginners who don't even know where to start asking questions. I recommend it.

A wonderful book with the basics of homeschooling in a non-preachy manner. Writing style is down to earth and easy to read. This book is not religious. I recommend all of Linda Dobson's books; Dobson is an experienced and happy homeschooling parent.

While this is a great resource for new homeschoolers, it did seem slanted towards a relaxed or unschooling approach. You would be wise to balance that with a good look at some of the other methods before deciding which is the best approach for your family.
