Wish I had read some of the others in this series but I was able to quickly figure out the characters. It was an easy read. I suggest finding the first in this series before you read this one as they seem to need to be read in order or at least you need the first one of the series to explain how these ladies got to where they are. A good beach book.

This episode was very enjoyable. A couple of the other books in the series seemed a little rushed, but this one was more "put together." Looking forward to her next episode. Don't look, I think I'm addicted.

Fern Michaels continues to keep me enthralled with her "Sisterhood" series. I can not put down the books as they become available and I can't wait for the next one to be published!

Hokus Pokus focus is to help Justice Pearl Barnes stop blackmail by her husband and son-in-law, and transport the people she is aiding to freedom from abuse. When the Sisterhood comes to the rescue, they find themselves with many hurdles to overcome. But with the determination and the brains of these women, not to mention Charles' help, they do succeed in their mission.

They have moved from Annie's beautiful mountain in Spain to Big Pine Mountain in North Carolina. It will be interesting to see how things develop for them as a group, as well as the individual lives of Nikki and Jack, Yoko and Harry, Kathryn and Bert. The dynamics of the "new group" consisting of Judge Easter, Lizzie and Maggie now in the mix, should continue to only make the Sisterhood stronger and more effective. Is there a future for Alexis and the gardener? I'm always amazed with the contacts that Charles has across the world. Those contacts seem to always be available to help. I do hope that Ted Robinson is gone forever.

It isn't as mysterious as I hoped. Only 1/2 way thru it and I have been reading since the end of Sept. It is not pulling me in.

There is no match for the Sisterhood - the seven friends who have taken vigilante justice to a new level - not even the FBI. Although the women foiled former FBI director Mitch Riley's plot to frame their friends Judge Nellie Easter and Lawyer Lizzie Fox, now they must remain in exile or risk capture. They can't complain about their opulent digs on a remote, luxurious mountaintop, but the ladies desperately miss home. Their wish to return might come true sooner than they expect when they receive a panicked call from Supreme Court Chief Justice Pearl Barnes, who faces blackmail fro her own illegal brand of justice. Now the women must not only sneak back into the United States, but also remain undetected as they investigate. But how do you make seven women disappear? With a nosy reporter on the brink of exposing them, the clock is ticking as the Sisterhood tries to create a little magic - and save the day...

Another great story from The Sisterhood. Fern Michaels continues to offer a wonderful story of the power of friends and how far they will go for what they feel is right. A must read if you believe in the Sisterhood.

The Sisterhood series begins with Weekend Warriors. This is a terrific series about women that have been done dirty one way or another who gravitate together and right those wrongs. They expand to include righting wrongs not specifically against them.

I entered this series with this book - so a little background is missing. I found the storyline to be interesting but the delivery uneven. Some of the events seemed totally out of character, but then again, I had no back story on most of the characters.
It was an OK read, but not enticing enough to bring me back for more.

The Sisterhood series is one of the best series I have ever read. Fast paced, funny and sometimes a bit of tears. I recommend it fully.
