Jill Shalvis is another author I discovered after joining PBS. She has become one of my favorites.

The Lucky Harbor Series is about 3 sisters who move to Lucky Harbor to claim an inheritance. Head Over Heels is the 3rd book of the series and centers on the youngest sister Chloe, a quirky, soft hearted girl who has gained the reputation of being "the wild child" Enter a very sexy hunk, a reformed "bad boy" who is now the sheriff and fun ensues. The shower scene, among others, is hot, hot, hot!!

If you're looking for a contemporary romance that is fun, yet steamy, look no further. You can't go wrong with this series and this book!

The end of the trilogy about the three sisters that come to Lucky Harbor and end up staying to run the local inn. Chloe is the designated wild child who will do just about anything. Sawyer is the bad boy turned good who is now the town's sheriff. Their story is combustible. A most enjoyable book to read. 3.75 stars

I had worries about this one since Chloe was flaky in the first two books. She really got it together in this one. Slowly but surely, she grew up. I got annoyed with Sawyer being too domineering. Memorable first time they "got it on." Overall, I enjoyed this and it kept me entertained. (I even left the book on the plane for the next person to (hopefully) enjoy.)

The book was really hard to get into at first. So much of the characters were based on their diseases. Nothing happened with Chloe without mention of her asthma until she kind of became a walking billboard for asthma sufferers. It kind of took away from the fun of the book.

After a while the book did move a little faster. There were a lot of telling you what were in the characters' heads and very little with showing you. There was also a lot of the characters saying one thing but thinking another, especially in the beginnning. So it could be a bit frustrating. But overall I warmed up to it.

Okay read. Not Shalvis's best but not her worse either.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm new to Jill Shalvis, but I want to read the rest of the Lucky Harbor books. I really like the characters and the way their individual personalities come through. They're either super likeable or super dislikable - but they make for a fun book to curl up with.

Chole spends most of the book trying to prove that she has grown up and that she can settle down. Swayer spends most the book learning that his wildside past wont reignite when he falls for Chole. This one was kept you reading and wanting more after it was done. The scenes made me laugh and made me gasp. Igive it four out of five simply because I wanted more.
