Tiny, sweet little book, wonderfully illustrated, as are all of Mary's books. The sayings are not too syrupy and several are worth seeing more than once, good since most of these are repeats of selections from other collections of hers. Bought a second copy to give to my best friend for her/their anniversary. Good also as a wedding present--has an inscription frontspiece to write your sentiment.
If you're a Mary Engelbreit fan and want a special gift book on marriage this is the one. Small but packed with high quality paper and art work. I'm single so my favorite saying says It takes a mighyty good man to be better than none! That's the only quote for singles but the married thoughts, art and sentiments are very true and sweet.
Fun book to read. Nice easy afternoon read.
