Geri-Ann Galanti is a medical anthropologist, and lecturer at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Galanti is also a part-time professor at California State University's Department of Anthropology and California State University's School of Nursing. Dr. Galanti is a consultant to Doctors in Touch.

Galanti is the author of the book Caring for Patients from Different Cultures, published by University of Pennsylvania Press. The book is used as a reference work at the State University of New York Institute of Technology and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. As of its 2008 publication, the book is currently in its fourth edition.
