This, the sixth book in the wonderful "Brides of Montclair" series, is the bittersweet story of Malcom Montrose and his second wife, Blythe Dorman, and how he, a broken man, loses Montclair. Blythe's story is continued in the next book in the series, "Shadow Bride."
