Alice and Grant - six years separated, never divorced, Alice is notified by police that he has died. His wallet found in the rubble of a home that exploded, possibly by accident. She goes up into the moors to see the place, unsure why, but it calls to her. There she runs into Max and Jenna (siblings).
Chatting with them she finds out Jenna is Grant's girlfriend and Max is writing a book about the house and ghost hunting.
The book sets out to answer:
Was Grant killed on purpose or accident?
Did the ghost of the house have a hand in it?
Who is the ghost of the house on the moor?
