Another spell-binding Kay Scarlett's novel. A fascinating plot and an intense ending. I would recommend all of Cornwell's books to anyone who enjoys a good psychological thriller, with sometimes gory murders, but always totally up to date forensic techniques. A great read!

Excellent read! More complex than many Scarpetta novels, with much supporting technical details. Also interspersed are very human observations and feelings which add to the atmosphere of deception Kay, Lucy, Benton and Marino encounter. Cornwell's characters are authentic and brilliant, and good detectives as well.
