This was a Mark Twain Award Nominee book (state award for Missouri). Hector is 11 and feels like his parents don't listen to him. His mom brings him on an archeological dig in Italy and he is able to travel through time to connect with an ancient boy.
I suggest this book for a middle school aged boy since the main character is a boy, Hector. Hector goes on an archaeological dig and begins a new, unexpected adventure.
