Antiques dealer Abigale Timberlake buys a hideous painting for $150.99 and discovers she has an authentic VanGogh worth at least 10 million dollars. Author Tamar Myers has a number of written "tics" that drive me nuts (like everyone calling everyone "dear") but the story was good enough that I kept reading until the end.
This is an great author.
This was definitely one of the better books in the series! I couldn't put it down once I started it last night and finished it today, all in just a few hours. I have definitely grown to love the series and I can't think of any reason why I would stop reading them...unless they start giving CJ big parts in all the books! :)
The mystery itself was much more interesting this time around featuring famous works of art by Van Gogh, Da Vinci, and Rembrandt to name a few. I can't wait to read the next book in the series! :)

Full of laughs. I got hooked on Tamar Myers through Paperback Swap and can hardly wait to read the next book in the series!
Very good series!
*** O.k. mystery, but a little too light for me. Good read for airplane trip.
Fun read with great characters. If you love antiques and a good mystery you're going to love hers.. Thanks to paperback swap I have requested the all and enjoying every minute.
Fun to read!

This is the first one I have read of this series. I will read more. It was just right, nice and light and easy to read. Not too silly, but funny enough. I enjoyed it.
Very good light thriller. This is one of a trilogy of mysteries from this writer about antiques. Really enjoyed the humor.
