Although this story is good --Angela Hunt is always good, I don't think it had the edge some of her other novels have had such as the debt. I thought the story was a little too predictable and I guessed the conclusion long before the books final page. Sigh I guess my favorite Hunt book aside from Heavenly Daze is still The Debt.

Although this book is editor deprived in regard to hurricanes, Gulf Coast geography, and bridges crossing Tampa Bay, it is still a page turner. The story line is quite unique and very enjoyable reading.

Good book. This one will keep you turning the pages. Hard to put down once you start.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Great story that kept my attention through the whole book. I can so see it being made into a movie! I recommend this one hands down!!
I didn't think I'd like this book too much, but indeed I loved it! I found myself rooting for all 3 women in this book and despising the man they all were connected to. Although it wasn't a steamy romance, which is my normal genre, I really really liked this one.
In the path of a very devastating hurricane, three very different women find themselves trapped in the elevator of a high-rise office building. All three conceal shattering secrets-unaware that their secrets center on the same man. The betrayed wife, the determined mistress, and the fugitive cleaning woman.
Angela Hunt has become one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint me. From beginning to end it gathers momentum and tension builds and ends, with what I thought was a surprise ending. Once I started reading, it was hard to put down. I would definitely recommend this book.

Kept me engrossed in the story. Riveting yet also very realistic!
This is a very interesting book. 3 women are stuck in the elevator doing a hurricane. They find out that they are all involved with the same man, wife, misstress and one with a secret about him .
Tension and excitement are maintained throughout!
An interesting premise but the book didn't really live up to the expectations I had for it. Plus it was a really quick read!
GREAT BOOK!
