Another wonderful Myron Bolitar story. Man, is this guy great or what!! If Myron was real I would most certainly have a crush on him.

I found Harlan Coben just last year and have read every single book he has on the market. I love his writing and the way he builds his characters. It is an absolute pleasure to read his books in order and see their progression.

originally I thought the sports aspect would be a turn-off for me, but it has so little to do with the story that it didn't bother me at all.

If you're looking for a quick, good, fun read, this is the book for you.

Another great Harlan Coben mystery, this one an early Myron Bolitar. The wise-cracking sports agent falls into a plot somewhere between Spenser and Noir -- oh, yeah, he's from New Jersey. GReat read.

High entertainment factor. Low believability factor. Murder mystery set at the US Open. Very likable good guys. If you like Nelson Demille or Carl Hiaasen, you'll find this to be in the same vein.

This was very entertaining and the ending totally caught me by surprise. The main character (Myron) is a sports agent turned detective when one of his prospective clients is murdered and a coverup is suspected. Myron is very sarcastic but funny as hell. He had me laughing out loud many times over. On the other hand, the lead detective was an asshole. A senator, a mobster and a tennis star are also involved. Great reading.

This is the 2nd installment of the Myron Bolitar series and I found it to be a very interesting read. The main character, Myron Bolitar, is a sports agent and has a quick wit and sarcastic tongue. His best pal, Win, is a slightly psychotic, totally loyal guy who watches Myron's back as they find themselves trying to solve a murder. A great plot and believable characters make this book one that should not be missed. A very enjoyable series. Highly recommended.

Tennis has been very good to agent Myron Bolitar. He represents two of the hottest young stars in the game. But when his female player is murdered in broad daylight at the U.S. Open and his male player becomes the prime suspect, Myron's got a whole new match to win.

Valerie Simpson, a former tennis star, is gunned down outside the stadium at the U.S. Open. Sports Agent Myron Bolitar is at the stadium watching his client, Duane Richwood, a young player rising quickly to stardom. Since Valerie had tried to contact Myron several times, he decides to investigate the killing and uncovers a connection between Valerie and Duane and a six-year-old murder.

This is the second book in the Myron Bolitar series and it's another winner. The story is fast moving and entertaining. I really like Harlan Coben's writing style and Myron's sarcastic wit. It makes for easy reading. I'm also a tennis fan and enjoyed the U.S. Open backdrop to this mystery. My rating: 4.5 Stars.

This is my second read of a Myron Bolitar novel. Still a lot of fun to read! I intend to read the others, too. I appreciate Coben's ability to get me to laugh out loud at the dialog and the thoughts. And finding the killer of Valerie Simpson, who wanted to re-enter the tennis world. ... I'm reading a non-Bolitar Coben novel now, of which more later.

Another good Myron & Win mystery book. In this case, a female teenage tennis player had a nervous breakdown when her fiancee, a senator's son, was murdered. Several years later she tries to contact Myron because she's interested in making a comeback. He doesn't return her call in time and she's shot. When he takes it upon himself to try and find out why she wanted to reach him, he becomes pulled back into a cover-up that happened 6 years ago. And people still aren't talking!

A good read. Harlen Coben rocks!!!

Myron Bolitar is a sports agent who has a passion to solve murders and this one involves a young tennis star who tried to contact him. And Myron current cliet is a suspect. Second in the series of stories by Coben featuring Myron Bolitar. Easy book to read and you don't want to put it down until you finish!

All the Coben books I've read have been excellent. Finish them in record time. From Basketball to Tennis. This is a story about a Pro tennis player in the US Open.
