Enjoyable.
I liked the strength the characters shared through the difficult times. Tragedy defeinitely strikes all in this book.

I love this collection of books. Tracie really makes you feel like you are there! She is an inspiring author!
Another excellent book by Tracie Peterson. This is a heartwarming series of the Chadwick/Selby/VanDyke family who make their home in the Montana Territory. I felt like I was with them the entire step of the way. You'll enjoy this read!

Book 3 in the "Heirs of Montana" Series
Through sheer determination the Diamond V ranch has flourished in the hands of Dianne and Cole Selby. But when a new family settles in the area with ambitions to establish an empire in Montana, it quickly becomes apparent that they will stop at nothing to uproot Dianne's family. As threats mount to their claim on the land, Dianne struggles to relinquish control and place her trust in the man she loves...all the while fearing the sacrifice she believes God may require.

I have never read Tracie Peterson's books before. I started this series because I was unable to locate the last book in another series I was reading. Tracie writes well enough...Her characters are not all that 3 diamentional, but as easy Christian reading goes I will finish this series and will read more of her books sometime in the future.
This one of the series was not what I expected after reading the first two (this is the third in the series). But, it is worth the time to keep up with "Diane" and "Cole". If you enjoy Christian fiction and the West in pioneer days, it is well worth the time to read this series.

Purchased this book for my daughter in law and she loved it.
