I couldn't put this book down. The story of a young woman who was trying to get her life back on track and her friend who's life was like a runaway train. Though we never find out exactly why he did what he did, I still recommend this book to those that like true crime.

I just finished this book in two days. It was very very good. I loved the author and once again I was not disappointed. A terrible story about psycho rich kids, but a book that is hard to put down. If you love true crime this one is for you.

A well written true crime book. It really gives you some insight into the people involved and makes the story much deeper. It doesn't explain how this kid could have come to commit such a crime because apparently he has been silent about that part of it but it give you so much info on his background as well as hers making the people so real. So often when you hear a news report about a murder it's in the most basic terms but this book is well researched and won't leave you without that information that brings some sort of understanding about the relationships and circumstances that eventually took such a tragic turn for them both.

This was a disturbing read as many true crime murder stories are. Young people with so much promise and advantages throwing away their lives because of drugs. A very sad story and nobody wins...
