Very good - I enjoyed this series of the Cousins O'Dwyer by Nora Roberts. You can NOT go wrong with any of her books. Don't forget she also writes as J.D. Robb.
What a storyteller Nora is! I felt like she was telling the story as I read. Her characters just always spring to life with her writing.
The first chapter was very dark, but please keep reading. There's wonderful warmth and light in these characters, and, like the others here, I eagerly look forward to seeing them again in Book 2.
If you're a Nora Roberts' fan, please consider reading The Official Nora Roberts' Companion. Even though it is outdated in keeping up with her more recent books, it's a really enjoyable look into her life and career. It also assisted me in bringing my list up to date of which of her books I'd read and which I'd missed over the years. It can be a daunting task with writers like Nora and Debbie Macomber who are so prolific!
Another great read from Roberts! I had tears in my eyes by page 34. It's a wonderful story of friendship, family, romance, and healing with a powerful foe to battle. The Irish setting is just as good as you imagine it will be and there's horseback riding and warm community dinners.
