Very classic Balogh, one I truly enjoyed. She always captures the flavor, speech and customs of the time so well. It was lovely having these two connected stories in one book. So glad they are reprinting some of her older works!

This wasn't my favorite Balogh novel, although it was ok for a quick thoughtless read. The characters weren't bad, although you knew what was going to happen and how. Ok though
