As much as I love Carly Phillips this wasn't one of her better stories. Hopefully the next one will be better.

Wonderful love story about 1st love and years later finding it again. They were young and had to make her disappear but now 10 yrs later she must return and claim what is hers (and not just the money, the man too!). Another great book by a great author.

Not up to her usual best. I got bored but skipped around until I got to the end.

Carly Phillips scores again! This book has a few more twists than her other books, which made it more interesting

There are two reasons though, which keeps me from giving it a perfect score: 1)It's a very sad story. Even the ending is a little sad. 2)I'm confused by certain relationships. I can safely say, without giving anything away, that it mentions the main character has only one living relative. Yet it also mentions that relative has a sibling. So I would assume this sibling would also be related to the main character. Hopefully someone can enlighten me.

Cute Romance

Not as impressed with this book as other reviewers. The heroine starts out with the two high school friends, faking her death to escape an abusive uncle. The teen relationships are mostly airbrushed. The drama of living under an alias is mostly skipped. The book is filled with secondary characters that want their own sequel. Everyone seems to dump existing relationships at the drop of a hat. Seems like there are ideas that could have been interesting plot twists, but everything is very glossed over and the book is about 1/3 to 1/2 of the size it should be.

Phillips first attempt at a little suspense, along with her usual light romance.
