One of my favorite Authors, but what happened?
I felt like Hamilton lacked judgement on what the topic of her story would be about and instead kept getting bogged down with repetative paragraphs and unnecessary emotional exploration. Meanwhile: Ireland, the bitch who cannot be named, THAT STORY, was hard to find.
Hamilton is a terrific storyteller, but needs to hire a new editor to keep her on track.
This book/story was a disappointment.

If I could rank 0 I would. Not much sex which was good. But literally 646 pages of metaphysical emotional crap. Then finally at p.647 we are about to meet the bad guy. It ends at p.708. Library loan so the only thing I wasted was my time. Since the author is now in a poly relationship, her books are pure wish fulfillment. No plot in sight.
