If you like Thomas Kinkade's art, there are prints if some of his watercolors in the book. His brother wrote the book about a trip they took with their father.

Take an adventurous read with Patrick & Thomas Kincade, along with their father on their travels exploring villages, castles & people of Wales, England, Ireland & France. Patrick writes, Thomas sketches & paints, father tells stories & relives his some of his experiences of Omaha Beach, northern France & Belgium during WWII.

The book will delight those who enjoy the works of Thomas Kinkade. Patrick Kinkade adds much to their adventurous trek in writing throughout Europe. Their father always adds some humor along the way, and often is found in a local eatery enjoying himself and the food...

A delightful book with drawings and colorful pictures to enoy, as well as great reading.

This was an enjoyable tour of the countries. I skimmed over the father's actions and concentrated on the descriptions of the places. The paintings and sketches were a wonderful addition to the text.
