Beautifully written, it explores family relationships and shows the growth and change that is possible - even though both are often painful.
As well, "Roses with Thorns" gives a sensitive, insightful look into the life of someone who depends upon dialysis for survival.

This was a great story and I didn't want to put it down. The character descriptions were wonderful and I felt like I knew the people and was a part of their lives.
