not all the tales, good for children
A Classic for all time.
This is a good translation.
I was surprised how vulgar the stories could be and how much church bashing there was! I guess I thought that was a modern past time.

An essential translation for the lover of classic themes. Brilliantly executed work. I highly recommend this, even if you've already read the traditional translations.
A true classic! I loved the stories, and it's amazing that they have not lost their power after 650-odd years. This version was apparently written for children, so it is quite an easy, quick read. This is not the Middle English/Old English version they made us read in high school; it's a lot more readable and fun!
This a a good book for those wanting the original and the new translated versions of this great work

Outstanding 1934 edition, with Rockwell Kent illustrations. Collector's item.
I love this book. The first time I read it I was a Senior in High School. I enjoyed it then and I still do.
Read it for class. It was ok.
I must admit I have not read this book.
