Brendan Hay was a headline producer for The Daily Show and a contributing writer for America . More recently, he has written for The Simpsons (his first credited episode is the season 20 finale "Coming to Homerica"), Frank TV, and The Mighty B!. Currently, he is the head writer on the new animated Star Wars sitcom for Lucasfilm Animation.
A lifelong comic book fan, Hay also wrote and created the mini-series "Scream Queen" for BOOM! Studios and wrote BOOM!’s Eureka, mini-series as well as short stories for BOOM!'s Cthulhu Tales and Devil's Due Publishing's Tromatic Tales. He also co-wrote the book Is It Just Me or Is Everything Shit?
Hay resides in San Rafael, CA with his wife, magazine editor, freelance writer, and young adult author Jennifer Chen, their three-legged cat, and their otter-tailed yellow lab.
