This book won a few awards, and it is very exciting! The heroine is very self-reliant, which is nice to see. She is totally capable of taking care of herself. The hero is sexy and passionate. All and all a good read.

Intriguing premise to the story, likeable chracters but it was not enough for me. I personally don't like to flip back and forth between the past and present. If it weren't for the jumping of timelines I think this could have been a better book.
Excellent third book in the "Brazen" triology, following "Brazen Angel" and "Brazen Heiress." This is the story of Lily and Sophia d'Artiers' younger brother, Julian, who, sees his wife, Maureen, across the room in Almack's. Maureen Hawthorne was supposed to have died 8 years earlier.........
This is part of a series and is very good. There are two other books.
