Weezie Foley is the owner of an antique shop in downtown Savannah. She is intent on winning this year's window dressing contest, but her fruit-based displays are sabotaged by hungry but otherwise mysterious vandals. She quickly comes up with a new theme, "Blue Christmas." Turns out that Blue Christmas is a theme for more than Weezie's window display: her boyfriend is too busy with work to celebrate the holidays, her neighbors are angry at her mutt dog Jethro for knocking up their pedigreed pup, and someone has been sneaking into Weezie's store and home.
I bought this book as part of a cozy mystery lot on eBay, but I would classify it more as chicklit. There is a very, very small amount of mystery, but it is more a vehicle for humor. This book is a breeze to read, and Weezie and the occupants of her town will provide you with an entertaining diversion during the holiday season.

The characters from 'Savannah Blues' return for a light and breezy tale of Christmas insanity, doggy love, and a blended-family dinner that goes hysterically wrong.

Another good one from Mary Kay Andrews. This is the fourth book of hers that I've read. I enjoyed it, but preferred Hissy Fit and Savannah Breeze. Either of those far outweighs this story.

Short novella with the stars of "Savannah Blues" and "Savannah Breeze". Its Christmastime in Savannah and Weezie is trying to win a decorating contest. She loves Christmas while her boyfriend Daniel does not. Another winner for me.
Another great book from Mary Kay Andrews!
This is a novella, so it is a quick little read. While it is predictable, I enjoyed it as something to wind down with at the end of the day and not have to think too deeply. Not my fave by this author, but still fun to read.

This is a must read. Before you get caught up in the hustle bustle- read Blue Christmas. It will make you laugh and it will remind you what Christmas is all about.
Recurring characters from the author's series about Savannah and a cast of characters. Fun, breezy, always an enjoyable read with great feeling of location (I've never been there) and interesting, amusing people.
