This is two stories in one. It is about a house 2 women and 2 men. It starts in present time and takes these women back 100 years . It is one of my favorites. It keeps you wondering all the time as to what will happen next.......The passions in this book is unforgettable.

Two stories in this one...THERE AND NOW is the story of Elisabeth and Jon. She's from the 20th century and travels back in time using her eccentric aunt's pendant and falls in the love with a small town doctor in the 1800's. HERE AND THEN is the story of Elisabeth's cousin, Rue, and her romance to small town marshall Farley Hayes. Both stories are about time travelling between the two period and very interesting slant on this method of transportation. A good read.
