Engaging and suspenseful but a disappointing ending.
Kate White, as usual, knows how to weave a web of suspense throughout a story until the reader can't wait to finish the book. Skyler has continued to search for a resolution to her sister's disappearance several years ago. After she is notified of a huge bequest, she is drawn into the possibility that the bequest and her sister's death are connected with lies and suspicion. Midway through the book, the only character I trusted was her cat, Tuna!I want to read it again FOR THE FIRST TIME!
