This was an anthology of all kinds of different selections, fiction, nonfiction, graphic short stories and even lists. I liked the nonfiction, but thought the fiction was wierd. Some of the lists were interesting. One of the graphic selections was in such small print I couldn't read it. An interesting mix of short selections.

Edited by Dave Eggers and the kids at 826 Valencia, this collection, while perhaps not necessarily the *best* American nonrequired reading, is certainly interesting. A bit self-consious at times.

Very enjoyable... a couple of the stories were heavy-handed but the introduction from Matt Groening is great!
