This book wasn't at all what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it in the end. It took quite awhile to actually get to the cavern and there wasn't a lot of action before then. I didn't warm up to the characters at first but I became quite attached to them as the book went along. Whatever I thought they would find in the cavern I was completely taken by surprise and there were some interesting developments. The pace really picks up toward the end and it becomes hard to put down.

A bit slow moving in the beginning, so if you're not into that, it's not for you.

A youtuber and his crew go into the grand canyon to find a mystery cave of mysteries. They find it. Things get weird.

I'm not a fan of horror where the entire horror is gore, so this was pretty good on that front. It got a little gross in one part, but it was bearable, and then the rest of it was definitely a little unnerving. It'd probably hit harder if you're scared of caves.

If you like Dan Brown, you'll definitely like this. If you don't like Dan Brown (I don't), it's still a fun read. It was a little hard to put down, I kept thinking "just one more chapter". It'd be a good beach read, or a little in between taster between books you really want to read.
