My grand daughter thought that this book was just so-so.
Violet Briggs just met someone who's really out of this world. He's a fairy named Sprite and he has a huge secret! Fourteen fairies escaped from the Otherworld and they're causing all kinds of trouble. It's up to Sprite, the Pixie Tricker, to catch the fairies, but he needs Violet's help. Will Violet and Sprite be able to trick the fairies into going home before it is too late?
Fixit is an angry elf. He's breaking all the toys in town. Robots are crying and ballerina dolls are mooing like cows. And Rusella is messing with everyone's messages. Violet and Sprite have to stop these sneaky faries before they mess up everything - for good!

A fun series that comes with a new page of stickers in the middle.
Violet and her fairy, Sprite are catching another bad fairy, and this ones name is Fixit. He breaks all the toys in town and are making the dolls and roots cry. Can Violet and Sprite catch him?
The Pixie Tricks books were some of the first chapter books that my son read. My son read a some of the Pixie Tricks books from the library and then asked me to buy him the whole series. If your child likes magic and fantasy but is too young to read Harry Potter, your child will probably like this series. This series is for 6-9 year olds according to the Barnes and Noble web site.
