OMG! What a hilarious book. I can not believe the number of times I LOL. Nina, the main character was so saucy. I loved it. she has this "I don't take no _____(fill in the blink)from anyone attitude" including vampire Greg. Who happens to be as charming as she is saucy. I also love the relationship she has with her friends. They are inseparable the way close friends should be. They follow Nina to the ends of the earth trying to help find the solution to her problem and get in a lot of trouble along the way. This is a great read. You will not be disappointed!

Following the highly humorous Accidental Werewolf, Dakota Cassidy brings us back to the color circle of Marty, Wanda, and Nina for another fun romp. Nina starts a new job as a dental hygienist. How could she know that the patient would have a vicious reaction to the numbing agent? The patient bites her, and she doesn't think much more about it until later. Later, as in the next evening when she finds she slept the day away, missed work, and woke up with fangs! Determined to get her humanity back, she gets her friends involved in her quest. Full of humor and likable characters, you're sure to like this light paranormal read, if you can get past the vulgar language. I'm looking forward to reading Wanda's story next !
Funny, paranormal romance by Dakota Cassidy, and second in series, after Accidental Werewolf. Nina has given up her color wheels to be a dental hygenist. On her first day on the job, she's bitten by a vampire, and turned into one of the Undead. Except, this doesn't sit too well with Nina and she searches for a way to reverse her change. Her sire Greg tries to teach Nina how to be a vampire, but Nina resists. Nina's friends Marty and Wanda also try to help. Funny book. I especially like how the author makes fun of paranormal romance novels. Nina is a huge PIA to everybody, but they stick by her. Fun book.
A lighthearted paranormal story. Hilarious writing, love the characters! Vampires and werewolves - so much fun. Can't wait to start book 3!

The Accidental Werewolf was a cute, fun, quick read. I blew thru it in a couple of days and thought I would continue on with the series. This one left me cold though. I was disappointed. To be the 'strongest' female in this little group she most of the book whining. And frankly I have been known to cuss a blue streak there was absolutely no concept to hers. It didnt add color to anything she was saying it came across as juvenile. I had all the others on me wish list but I am debating whether its worth the bother.
Nina had no idea how much her new job was going to bite. Literally! Here she was minding her own business assisting a dental patient, when out of no where, he bit her. She had no idea that she would wake up later, dead! No way is Nina going to allow herself to be the undead. This is simply not good enough for her. She wants her life back. All the romance novels say it is an easy thing to do, so it should not be too difficult. Right?
Greg just wanted his tooth fixed. He had no idea that he was going to have a reaction to the anesthesia and end up biting the tech. Boy was that a mistake. Not only did he turn someone, which is against his beliefs, but he turned the most annoying woman possible. All he wants to do is try to help her but the woman insists on driving him crazy.
Because one of her best friends has recently become a werewolf, Nina does not find that becoming a vampire is unbelievable, just very irksome. She decides that no way was she going to stay a vampire, so she needed to hunt down Mr. Toothy. She does just that. What she was not prepared for was Mr. Toothy forcing the vampire rules and lifestyle on her. She is convinced that there is a way for her to get her mortality back and he is just keeping it from her. Only when she realizes that Greg is fighting his own battle, a battle to stay undead rather than just dead, does Nina take a step back and realize that being alive, no matter what form, is not so bad.
