WOW! I just finished this book. I love the Women's Murder Club! This is by far their best case and by far their best story. Lindsey is on the trail of a killer of young, beautiful young women when deaths start happening in a major hospital. Needless to say she gets involved in these cases too.
I did'nt suspect who the Night Walker was and was blown away by the end of the book. There's much more to tell about this book, just know if you liked the other Women's Murder Club stories, you'll LOVE this one!

I read this book in one day. This book was written very well. The mystery of the killings keeps you reading and wanting to know the end. I have read this series in less than two weeks.

There were two stories in this book that really had nothing to do with each other. I think both stories were interesting and kept me turning pages. So when both of the endings were lackluster I was totally disappointed. Both stories endings are poorly explained and give the feeling of being rushed.

A pretty typical novel. Again, you don't really have to read the series in order, but it helps. This one does seem a bit shallow when it comes to the plot, but still an enjoyable read. Three out of five.

I am a big fan of the Women's Murder Club mysteries. So far, the July 4th was my favorite because we got to see Lindsay personal life a little. This one had almost zero about personal lives and there were two different cases going on at the same time. It won't stop me from reading number six, but of all of them, it was my least favorite.

Excellent reading and a keep you up late page turner . To me Mr Patterson breathed new life into the Womens Murder Club mystery by making this a semi Medical drama ,And another lady joins the Womens Murder Club and she is just as bright and well spirited as the others.

IMO James Patterson is becomming lazy in his writting and not keeping up with his earlier works. I expected more suspence and drama from him. Could his "co-writer" have something to do with it?.

I really enjoyed this read from the Women's Murder Club. Courtroom drama as Muncipal Hospital is sued for malpractice meanwhile unexpected death keep occurring at the hospital. Parralel to this is a series of murders where young women's bodies have been dressed in expensive clothing and left to be found in very expensive cars. A light read with enough mystery to keep me guessing.

Since so many others have outlined the general plot of this story (huge lawsuit against a hospital; suspicious deaths that may or may not have been committed by a doctor) I'll simply leave a brief comment. Although the story isn't all that complicated, it was still a quick, enjoyable read--and the ending was one I didn't see coming. Please be aware, though, that THE 5TH HORSEMAN is NOT an Alex Cross novel, which seemed to be one reviewer's complaint. This is the story of Lindsay Boxer, SFPD Lieutenant and her fellow Women's Murder Club friends. I found the story to be heartfelt and emotional, full of action-adventure, and, as I said, a very quick, satisfying read.
