The clock struck twelve times. Feelings arose as if I had been here once before. Shivers racing up my spine as I was surrounded in alleys unknown covered in blackness. A sudden chill of evil like icy fingers playing up and down one’s spine would grab, then slap me causing a sudden freeze in utter terror, then feel overwhelming warmth and awaken.
Can you imagine my surprise to find out this horrible occurrence was nothing more than a nightmare! So assuming it as such I would return to my slumber the following night where the dream “haunting”, as you may call them would progress into a worse state. This time I awoke with physical marks even though having slept alone. So seeking help, they felt it was “self inflicted”. I was however prescribed medication to sleep.
Once again fighting the urge to sleep, finally took the medication, drifting off. The clock struck twelve times once more with the icy feeling returning. This time I wasn’t in alleys but my remained in my bed. The light had been left on which was near my bed. Oddly enough a dark hand was reaching from behind my dresser to turn it off. I reached for the hand out of mere curiosity for where it was coming from; missing it the first time but the second time it flipped me with great force from my bed into a wood box of sorts. Finally there was warmth in this being, not evil and I felt safe. I was suddenly able to view the box floating up away seeing myself beneath below.
